Brow Lift
A brow lift elevates the position of the brows to reduce heaviness and soften lines across the forehead. Dr. Akinosun uses advanced techniques that are less invasive than traditional brow lift procedures. These include:
Endoscopic brow lift: This technique uses 4 to 5 small, discreet incisions concealed within the hairline to lift and reposition the brow. It can reduce forehead lines and restore a more refreshed, alert appearance with less visible scarring and downtime than traditional approaches.
Temporal brow lift: A temporal brow lift focuses on lifting the outer brow for a subtle, natural-looking enhancement without creating a surprised appearance. It is often preferred when concerns are limited to drooping at the outer brow and upper eyelids. A temporal brow lift typically takes about an hour to perform and involves a relatively quick recovery.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing improves skin tone, texture, and overall clarity by stimulating the skin’s natural healing response. This process triggers the production of new collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother, tighter skin.
Dr. Akinosun uses a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser to treat skin concerns such as sun damage, deep wrinkles, and scars. CO2 laser skin resurfacing is an ablative procedure that removes the skin’s outer layer to produce dramatic results. Because it is more aggressive than most other laser treatments, you should plan for up to 2 weeks of recovery. Unlike other lasers, however, you’ll get the desired results after only one treatment.
Dr. Akinosun often combines laser skin resurfacing with other facial rejuvenation procedures, such as a deep plane facelift and eyelid surgery.
Lip Lift
As you age, the distance between your nose and upper lip (the philtrum) gradually lengthens, resulting in a thinner lip. A surgical lip lift shortens the distance between the upper lip and the nose, increasing the amount of visible pink lip and improving overall balance. Unlike fillers, which add volume, a lip lift enhances the natural shape and position of the lips for a more defined, youthful appearance.
Dr. Akinosun also performs a BOTOX® lip flip, a nonsurgical treatment that creates the appearance of a fuller upper lip without the use of dermal fillers or fat transfer.
Chin Augmentation
You can improve facial harmony, strengthen your profile, and boost your self-confidence with chin augmentation performed by Dr. Akinosun. She performs this procedure by inserting a customized implant through a small incision. In some cases, she may recommend combining chin augmentation with submental liposuction to create a more sculpted, proportionate profile.
Buccal Fat Removal
Buccal fat removal reduces fullness in the lower cheeks, creating a more angular, sculpted facial contour. Buccal fat pads are found deep in the lower cheek, between the masseter (chewing) and cheek muscles. Reducing their volume can enhance natural facial structure and balance.
Dr. Akinosun takes a conservative approach to this surgery to ensure results appear natural and refined, avoiding an overly hollowed appearance. She performs the 45-minute procedure by making a small incision inside the mouth, with no external scarring.
Earlobe Reduction
This straightforward procedure reshapes elongated or stretched earlobes to create a more balanced, natural appearance with minimal downtime. Dr. Akinosun performs earlobe reduction in her office using a local anesthetic. The procedure typically takes about an hour.
Otoplasty (Ear Pinning Surgery)
Otoplasty reshapes or repositions the ears to create a more balanced, natural appearance. Whether you have prominent ears, asymmetry, or concerns about the shape of your ears, the procedure can improve facial harmony while preserving your unique features. Otoplasty is commonly performed for both children and adults.

Mohs Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Akinosun performs reconstructive surgery for patients who have undergone Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly precise surgery that removes skin cancer while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible. The procedure is considered the gold standard for the treatment of basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, especially those occurring on the face and hands. It has a 99% cure rate for first-time procedures.
Once the cancer is removed, Dr. Akinosun uses precise reconstructive techniques to rebuild natural contours while minimizing visible scarring, with careful attention to both aesthetics and long-term healing. As a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, she has extensive experience with Mohs reconstructive surgery and has devoted much of her fellowship training to its use in cosmetically sensitive areas, such as the nose and cheeks.
